Shell Energy has applied for an offshore feasibility license in the Gippsland Region of Victoria to develop a 2.3 gigawatt (GW) offshore wind project, off the coast of South Gippsland.
This project demonstrates our commitment to the development of Australia’s offshore wind industry and presents Shell Energy with the opportunity to continue investing in, and partnering with Australia, as we pursue our shared goals of achieving net-zero emissions and delivering solutions that improve the livelihoods of all Australians.

Shell Energy have submitted a feasibility licence application to develop an offshore wind project within the Federal Government’s declared development area, located in the Bass Strait off Gippsland. You can view this on their website, here.
