Shell Energy Operations Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell plc, has entered into a 50/50 joint partnership with Foresight Group to acquire Kondinin Energy Pty Ltd. This acquisition will be Shell’s first West Australian renewables development – and first West Australian wind project.
The Kondinin Energy project is located approximately 245km east of Perth and comprises various stages of 370MW of developments across wind, solar and battery energy storage system assets.
This partnership will expand Shell’s portfolio of renewable projects, helping to offer more low-carbon energy solutions for our commercial and industrial customers.
